Deploy without drama: a rollback-shaped release

Shipping gets calmer when rollback is part of the design, not the emergency plan.

A release is not complete when the new code is live. It is complete when the team can see whether the change helped and can return to safety without improvising.

Design the rollback path before the rollout path. Make the decision signal visible, keep the blast radius small, and write down the exact command or switch that restores the previous state.

That discipline also improves forward delivery: when recovery is cheap and legible, teams can move with more confidence.
